Day one of ONS 2026.
Today’s main quest was the attendance at ONS+ UnCorked. Here we joined the Panel Discussion by ITERA “From Ukraine to Norway: How Do We Build Energy Systems That Withstand War?”
The most impressive takeaways for us where
- To define resilience in a way, that it still suits the circumstances of a changing world. Not to avoid threats, but rather build systems which recover fast and are more adaptable.
- That collaboration is not only important, but a prerequisite for resilience and a comprehensive supply.
- We do not only need funding, but the expertise to persist.

Two events in Stavanger.
Yesterday we joined two events in Stavanger.
First, “AI, Energy, Resilience and Lessons from Ukraine,” a panel organized by Itera, hosted at the ONS+ UnCorked Showcase & Networking Pavilion. The agenda included opening remarks by Arne Mjøs (CEO & Founder of Itera), followed by presentations from Jarand Rystad (Founder & CEO, Rystad Energy), Emanuele Volpe (Advisor to the CEO for Innovation and International Relations, Energy Company of Ukraine), Ashild Hanne Larsen (CEO, Copco 8 AS), and Morten Thorkildsen (Executive Consultant, digital health, cyber and defense industries). The session closed with an executive panel debate.
After that we attended “Åpent møte om Hagehus,” an open meeting on the garden-house housing concept, organized by Stavanger kommune & Nordic Edge at Innoasis. Not only addressed the program the necessity of planning and thinking more forward for a more inclusive and sustainable way of living better together, but also gave the opportunity to get in touch with some regional architects.
We are grateful for the knowledge we gained.

Svetlana Kohnert serves as an ambassador for PANDAS — a German network with a clear goal: 50% women in leadership. Together with Dr. Kim Dede, she represents the area of expat women, working to strengthen women’s careers across borders. Germany currently ranks below the EU average in female leadership — a gap PANDAS is actively working to close.
